So it appears as if the price of gas is going down, at least for now. Here in California it's gone down quite rapidly, I'm surprised to say. The cheapest price I've found was $2.76 a gallon for regular unleaded.
I don't check the price of the premium gas, I believe it's a waste of money to put that stuff in my car. I drive a Toyota Corolla and it's done just fine for 10 years now on regular unleaded. I guess people think that their cars are like their children and they need to baby them with this "better" gas. I believe in tough love - nothing but the rough and tough cheap stuff for my car.
This is just my opinion. You can put whatever gas you want in your car, while I save money putting cheap gas in my car. I guess this is just one of the things that makes me such a great bargain shopper.

Price of Gas in California down to under $3... WOW!

I haven't seen anything under $3/gallon yet here in CA but it's coming down fast. I believe this am, the best cost near me was $3.18 which is much better than $4.79 which was the highest price not too long ago!!
This is in Southern California, at the cheap gas stations like ARCO, Sam's Club or Costco. I've seen Chevron or Exxon's at $2.99 but that's for the cheap gas. Diesel is still around $3.50 or so.
thats me too.. I put the cheapest price I can possible can.. here in texas the cheapest that I have seen so far is 2.23... I can actually put 10 bucks now on my suv... i hope it keeps going down... but it gets a little scary because the holidays are coming and might soar again to about 4 dollars..
FYI in Indonesia gas cost IDR 6000 or about USD 0,5. Heaven? I Guess not.
