Teach Your Kids to Recycle and Make Money

I was talking with a friend of mine about recycling bottles and cans, and I found out a great way to teach your kids to recycle and make money.

My friend told me that she takes her 5 year old daughter with her to the recycling center and lets her daughter "help" recycle the bottles and cans. Then she lets her daughter keep the money she earned and can save it or use it to buy something she really wants. I think this is a GREAT thing to teach your children. It will help the environment and help educate your kids about money. And hopefully your children will keep this knowledge and use it as adults, eventually teaching their kids to do the same.
